Island Research is a comprehensive digital catalog of historical materials relating to Pine Island, Florida, and the surrounding islands.  Our mission is twofold: search out all that is available on the internet regarding Pine Island and inventory it in one place for easy reference.  And to collect, preserve and publish here old photos, documents and stories from past and present Pine Island residents.  Our intent is to create an extensive online Bibliography of all things connected to the history of Pine Island and the surrounding area as to make it readily accessible for all to review as to encourage pride in the ancestry of our area.
